Application preparation
A little less paperwork on your plate.
ALW application-preparation help for California RCFE and ARF owners, with Nani, RN, as your main contact.
We prepare the documents. You stay involved.
We use your facility records to prepare the ALW provider application and related Medi-Cal enrollment paperwork. You receive documents to review, a clear list of anything still needed, and instructions for your facility’s remaining steps.
What the service includes
- A document checklist and review of the information you provide
- Preparation of applicable ALW and Medi-Cal enrollment forms
- Organization of supporting records and checks for inconsistencies
- NPI application assistance when needed
- Interview preparation if DHCS requests an interview
- Help preparing responses to agency questions and correction requests
- Guidance on the steps after approval
What your facility completes
You provide accurate records, resolve questions, verify the prepared answers, and sign where required. Your facility completes notarization and fee arrangements where applicable, then submits the application and handles direct agency communications with our support.
Our preparation estimate is 2–3 weeks after we receive and review the required documents. Missing information or complex issues can extend that estimate. DHCS review is separate and has no promised completion date.
Help that starts with a conversation
Before you purchase, tell us your facility type, county and where you are in the process. We can explain the scope and identify questions that need attention. Priority preparation may be available; any extra fee and schedule are agreed before work starts.
Support is available in English and Spanish. Nani works with Dan on unresolved application-workflow questions.
How it works
A process you can follow.
Start with your facility.
Choose the course, or talk with Nani about preparation help. Review the requirements for your license, location and application type.
Build from your records.
Gather the evidence, resolve missing information, and prepare the forms. The answers should describe how your own facility operates.
Review, sign and submit.
Your facility checks the facts and completes the submission steps. DHCS decides approval and controls its review timeline.
Plain answers
A few questions you may have

Can I switch from DIY to preparation help?
You don’t have to figure out the next step alone.
